This Regional Partner Policy was last updated 8 February 2021.
When you sign up to become a The VR Voyage regional partner (“Regional Partner”), you agree to the following Regional Partner Policy (“Regional Policy”). This Regional Policy covers all details of the partnership between you and The VR Voyage. As a partner, you are contracting directly with Forager International Limited (an Irish corporation). All policies are concerning Irish and EU law.
As a partner, you are responsible for assisting in promoting the creation of new Experiences with your membership. Supplying accurate, up-to-date contact information, and providing assistance when outreach help is needed.
You represent and warrant that:
you will provide up-to-date account information; and
you have the necessary experience and qualifications to represent your region in your specific industry.
You warrant that you will not:
engage in any activity that would require the payment of license fees to any third party organisation;
interfere with or otherwise prevent other Regional Partners from utilising The VR Voyage marketplace to promote opportunities to their membership; or
abuse The VR Voyage resources, including our support services team.
The VR Voyage holds the main responsibility for outreach to potential Partners. We are responsible for the recording, development and hosting of all Experiences. Our team is in the field to record each Partner’s Experiences, and The VR Voyage development team produces the final product using the individual Partner’s Submitted Content.
There are no costs to becoming a Regional Partner. The VR Voyage is not responsible for any remuneration of staff or volunteers regarding obligations outlined above. All those costs are solely your responsibility as the Regional Partner.
You grant The VR Voyage permission to use your name, logo, likeness, and image in connection with marketing and promoting this partnership. You retain the right to request your branding be removed from The VR Voyage marketplace at any time. Requests for Removal must be made in writing to assigned Regional Partner Managers with 5 business days notice.
You waive any rights of privacy, publicity, or other rights of a similar nature, to the extent permissible under applicable law.
You agree to abide by the quality standards outlined in the Regional Partner Obligations section above.
We reserve the right to suspend payouts and/or ban Regional Partners for any reason at any time, without prior notice, including in cases where:
a Regional Partner does not comply with our policies;
a Regional Partner engages in behaviour that might reflect unfavourably on The VR Voyage or bring The VR Voyage into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule; or
as determined by The VR Voyage at its sole discretion.
You do not have any direct relationship with customers. No customer data will be shared with you.
When an Experience is purchased, we calculate the gross amount (“Gross Amount”) as the total amount received for the purchase. From this, we subtract a 3% processing fee and any amounts paid to third parties in connection with promotional activities to calculate the net amount of the sale (“Net Amount”).
For sales made with Partner URLs from members of your regional organisation, 1% of the Net Amount is distributed to you. The remainder is divided between The VR Voyage and the individual Partner.
The VR Voyage makes all Partner payments in Euros (EUR) regardless of your local currency. We will assume transaction processing fees, excluding foreign currency exchange conversion fees, and wiring fees. Monthly Revenue Reports will show sales in both local currency and the payment currency (EUR).
To receive payments promptly, you must provide accurate contact information linked to the account and any relevant tax numbers that may be needed for payments. You are responsible for any taxes owed on income generated through The VR Voyage.
Transactions made between the 16th of the previous month and the 15th of the current month will be paid out on the last Friday of the current month.
You acknowledge and agree that customers have the right to receive a refund, as detailed in the Refund Policy. You will not receive any revenue from Experiences that have been granted a refund. If revenue has already been distributed to you, that amount will be subtracted from the next month’s payment.
While in partnership with The VR Voyage, you may use our trademarks in promotional materials with the approval of The VR Voyage.
only use approved trademarks, with appropriate uses outlined in the available brand guidelines;
only use The VR Voyage trademarks while promoting your Experiences through our marketplace; and
remove any trademark materials upon the request of The VR Voyage.
You may not:
use our trademarks in any way that may degrade our public reputation.
You retain the right to terminate your partnership at any time. Upon termination of your partnership, Experiences made with your members will remain hosted on The VR Voyage platform as the individual Partner is distinct from the partnership between you and The VR Voyage.
On occasion, we may update our Regional Policy to further define our relationships with our Regional Partners. The VR Voyage reserves the right to modify or make changes to this policy at any time. When changes to the Regional Policy are made, you will be notified by the email that is associated with your account. Changes will take effect on the day the Regional Policy is posted.
Continued use of The VR Voyage’s marketplace after changes are posted shall mean each Regional Partner’s acceptance of the modifications. The revised Regional Policy shall supersede all previous editions of the Regional Policy.
The following sections shall survive the expiration or termination of these Terms: Sections 3 (License to The VR Voyage) and 10 (Miscellaneous Legal Terms).
