When you sign up to become a The VR Voyage partner (“Partner”), you agree to the following Partner Policy (“Policy”). This Policy covers all details of the partnership between you and The VR Voyage. As a partner, you are contracting directly with Forager International Limited (an Irish corporation). All policies are concerning Irish and EU law.
As a partner, you are responsible for supplying accurate, fact-based information, and providing a guide that will represent you throughout all virtual experience productions (“Experiences”). All images, text, and video content will hereby be referred to as “Submitted Content”.
You represent and warrant that:

The VR Voyage is responsible for the recording, development and hosting of all Partner Experiences. Our team is in-the-field to record each Partner’s Experiences, and The VR Voyage development team produces the final product using the Partner’s Submitted Content.
The creation of all Experiences is free for you. The VR Voyage is not responsible for any remuneration of guides, performers, or any labour required for you to produce your interactive elements. All those costs are solely your responsibility as the Partner.
If you require help with Submitted Content, this is available to you through The VR Voyage’s production partner, fmg | virtual at a rate of €30/hour. These additional services include:
A set time allotment is granted to the production of each tour, 3 hours for a Standard tour and 6 hours for a Feature tour. If delays are caused by the Partner, all production time over the allotted production time will be billed to the Partner at a rate of €30/hour, payable to The VR Voyage’s production partner, fmg | virtual.
The VR Voyage retains all rights of ownership on scans, photographs, and video content that are produced by The VR Voyage team during recording sessions. The VR Voyage retains the right to use Submitted Content to promote Experiences and The VR Voyage as a whole. Submitted Content remains your property outside of The VR Voyage Experiences and promotional activities.
You grant The VR Voyage the rights to offer, market, and otherwise exploit your Submitted Content. This includes the right to add captions for any additional languages or otherwise modify content to ensure accessibility.
You retain the right to request your Experiences be removed from The VR Voyage marketplace at any time. Requests for Removal must be made in writing to assigned Partner Managers with 30 days notice to ensure all purchases are fulfilled prior to the deletion of Experiences.
You grant The VR Voyage permission to use your name, logo, voice, likeness, and image in connection with marketing, promoting, and selling Experiences. You waive any rights of privacy, publicity, or other rights of a similar nature, to the extent permissible under applicable law.
You agree to abide by the quality standards outlined in the Partner Obligations section above.
We reserve the right to remove Experiences, suspend payouts, and/or ban partners for any reason at any time, without prior notice, including in cases where:
You do not have any direct relationship with customers. The only customer data that will be shared with you is the location of each customer for basic demographic purposes.
When publishing an Experience, you will be consulted on the base price you wish to set. The VR Voyage will suggest a base price, but the final decision is up to you.
When a customer purchases an Experience using a foreign currency, we will convert the base price into their applicable currency using a foreign currency conversion rate set by The VR Voyage. This rate is updated at the discretion of The VR Voyage, and those conversion rates may not be identical to current market rates at the time of purchase.
You permit us to share your Experiences for free with our employees, and with selected partners. You understand that you will not receive compensation in these cases.
If customers purchase Experiences in a country having legislation on digital transactions that require national, state/provincial, or local taxes to be charged, The VR Voyage will add these onto relevant purchases and remit those taxes to the appropriate authorities.
When an Experience is purchased, we calculate the gross amount (“Gross Amount”) as the total amount received for the purchase. From this, we subtract a 3% processing fee and any amounts paid to third parties in connection with promotional activities to calculate the net amount of the sale (“Net Amount”).
For sales made with Partner URLs, 90% of the Net Amount is distributed to you. 10% is kept as an admin fee by The VR Voyage. Likewise, for organic sales made by The VR Voyage, 10% of the Net Amount is distributed to you. Regarding the creation of alternate language tours, there is a different revenue share that is outlined in our Foreign Language Policy.
The VR Voyage makes all Partner payments in Euros (EUR) regardless of your local currency. We will assume transaction processing fees, excluding foreign currency exchange conversion fees, and wiring fees. Monthly Revenue Reports will show sales in both local currency and the payment currency (EUR).
To receive payments promptly, you must provide accurate contact information linked to the account and any relevant tax numbers that may be needed for payments. You are responsible for any taxes owed on income generated through The VR Voyage.
Transactions made between the 16th of the previous month and the 15th of the current month will be paid out on the last Friday of the current month.
You acknowledge and agree that customers have the right to receive a refund, as detailed in the Refund Policy. You will not receive any revenue from Experiences that have been granted a refund. If revenue has already been distributed to you, that amount will be subtracted from the next month’s payment.
While in partnership with The VR Voyage, you may use our trademarks in promotional materials with the approval of The VR Voyage.
You may not:
You retain the right to terminate your partnership at any time. This will follow the 30 day notice period, as is the case with the removal of specific Experiences outlined above. Upon termination of your partnership, you have the option to abandon Experiences or purchase them from The VR Voyage at an agreed-upon retail value.
On occasion, we may update our Policy to further define our relationships with our Partners. The VR Voyage reserves the right to modify or make changes to this policy at any time. When changes to the Policy are made, you will be notified by the email that is associated with your account. Changes will take effect on the day the Policy is posted.
Continued use of The VR Voyage’s marketplace after changes are posted shall mean each Partner’s acceptance of the modifications. The revised Policy shall supersede all previous editions of the Policy.
The following sections shall survive the expiration or termination of these Terms: Sections 3 (The VR Voyage’s Rights to Production Materials), 4 (License to The VR Voyage), and 10 (Miscellaneous Legal Terms).
